Let me explain to you just one thing: as long as we are working with the old traumatised self, as long as we are trying to change or improve the old self, We are getting nowhere. We have to drop it, and when we do,actually we become free, liberated. Of course, we often pick it up again because we are so accustomed/addicted to live with our suffering. It is a very strange to experience this level of peace and  freedom. We are not accustomed to it or know what to do with it. It was something new (or something very old but forgotten). Our systems get confused and frightened…

In short, emotional traumas are connected with our old self. By dropping the old self, traumas disappear automatically (you don’t have to deal with all the details from the past). The traumas are a part of the package called self. If you drop the old self, the traumas are gone automatically.
